01 · Independence

Unofficial by design

Client Fix Collective is an independent, noncommercial community project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by Fatshark AB, Games Workshop Limited, or any platform operator.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide and related names are referenced only to identify compatibility and the subject of community commentary. We do not use official logos, trade dress, copied artwork, character likenesses, audio, video, or other proprietary game assets.

02 · Submission rules

Client-side means client-side

Submissions must concern accessibility, interface, visual, performance, or quality-of-life behaviour on the submitting player’s own client. They must not:

• change or degrade the experience of unmodded players;
• circumvent progression, contracts, achievements, premium content, currencies, or platform controls;
• automate gameplay, expose unfair information, enable griefing, or otherwise create a competitive advantage;
• collect credentials, session tokens, account data, telemetry, or private API responses;
• probe, disrupt, burden, or interfere with game services or third-party systems;
• contain malware, obfuscated executables, stolen code, copied game assets, harassment, or unlawful material.

Every listing is manually reviewed before publication. We may decline, edit, archive, or remove any submission. Review reduces risk but is not a security audit, warranty, or official approval.

03 · Contributor terms

You keep your work

By submitting report text, you confirm that you are entitled to provide it and grant Client Fix Collective a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, moderate, edit for clarity, publish, and archive that text for the project’s community-maintenance purpose.

We accept links to proposed fixes, not uploaded code or binaries. The licence stated in the linked repository governs that code. Contributors should use a recognised open-source licence and preserve third-party notices. Do not submit proprietary game code or assets.

04 · Privacy notice

Collect less

The public site has no member accounts, advertising trackers, or first-party analytics cookies. Bug reports collect only the technical fields shown on the form and a random report reference. Do not include names, account identifiers, tokens, or other personal information.

The contact form collects your email address, request type, and message so we can respond. Open contact messages and pending reports are retained for up to 12 months; rejected reports are removed after 90 days. Approved technical reports may remain published until obsolete or removed.

Cloudflare provides hosting, security logs, and Turnstile anti-abuse checks and may process network and device metadata under its own notices. Operational logs intentionally exclude form bodies, email addresses, Turnstile tokens, and IP addresses from application logging.

05 · Acceptable use

Helpful, factual, lawful

Do not use this service to break laws, infringe intellectual property, defame or harass people, distribute malware, bypass security, promote cheating, impersonate another organisation, or publish secrets or personal information. Describe observable behaviour rather than speculating about motives.

Fixes are used entirely at the player’s risk. Back up local settings, inspect source, follow the game publisher’s current rules, and expect game updates to break community modifications. The project provides information as-is and does not promise availability, compatibility, safety, or fitness for a particular purpose.
